Hello! I am Molly, the new GVI field
staff team member in Luang Prabang. I am thrilled to be living in this beautiful town and to be a part of such an admirable organization. I can not wait to visit the many temples, teach English
in schools, meet adventurous volunteers, eat delicious Lao food and enjoy the breath-taking scenery.
I am originally from England but grew up in the United States. Thanks to my parents, I am an avid traveler but I also enjoy dancing, photography and yoga. I graduated from university in the mountains of North Carolina where I studied family development and psychology.
Almost 2 years ago I left the States to backpack around Southeast Asia and this is when I fell in love with everything Laos. In January of 2011 I visited Luang Prabang and vowed that I would be back! After returning to the States I began to teach English as a Second Language to immigrants from all around the world. I enjoyed my job but knew I had to figure out a way back to this
wonderful country with such rich and diverse culture. Thanks to GVI, I have found my way back and am about to embark on a once in a lifetime opportunity.
