Tad Se Waterfalls

Written by Heather from Canada who is on the project for 4 weeks

I can't imagine a better break from teaching than a trip to the Tad Se Waterfalls. After a bumpy tuk-tuk ride and a precarious trip across the river, we arrived at a scene straight off a postcard. Icy blue, crystal clear water cascading down into a pool with a little wooden hut perched over the water. Looking around, I felt that this had to be the most beautiful place on earth. The incredible scenery was then matched by the exquisite feeling of escaping the sun and humid air by diving into the water and swimming beneath the waterfalls. All in all, it was a pretty great start to my last week in Laos.
