Welcome to the GVI Laos Teaching and community programme blog where you can keep up to date with all the happenings and information from our work in Laos
Global Vision International (GVI) is a non-political, non-religious organisation, which through its alliance with over 150 project partners in over 30 countries, provides opportunities for volunteers to fill a critical void in the fields of environmental research, conservation, education and community development.
Wat Sipphoutabaht, arising from a hill on the peninsula in Luang Prabang, formed by the confluence of the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers, houses a monk school at which GVI volunteers will be teaching this coming term. GVI volunteers attended an opening ceremony for the new school year alongside the Wat's teachers and novice monks.
