Sunday picnic

Last Sunday, all volunteers were invited on a picnic by the family that runs Cold River Guesthouse. We went to Tad Se Waterfall, 20kms out of town. We drove there by van, then caught a local boat to the waterfall.

Tad Se Waterfall is a series of cascading falls into beautiful pools of green water.

We all swam, then sat down to a veritable feast of a picnic: sticky rice, Lao salad and barbecued fish, and Lao beer of course!

It was great to experience to be included in a Lao family day out…..
